Mbosso—born Mbwana Yusuf Kilungi on October 3, 1995, in Kibiti, Pwani Region, Tanzania—is a celebrated Bongo Flava artist known for his emotive vocals and romantic ballads. He gained prominence as a member of the award-winning Yamoto Band before launching a successful solo career under WCB Wasafi, the label founded by Diamond Platnumz.

🎶 Early Life & Musical Beginnings

Raised in a modest household in Kibiti, Mbosso’s passion for music was evident from a young age. He began his musical journey with the group Wakubwa na Wanawe, which later evolved into Yamoto Band. Performing under the stage name “Maromboso,” he and his bandmates achieved significant success, including winning the Best Band award at the 2015 Kilimanjaro Music Awards. The group disbanded in 2017, prompting Mbosso to pursue a solo career
